The pie safe top has a one inch overhang in the front, but the top is
flush with the sides. The bottom molding is also flush with the sides.
The pie safe was a custom build to match the pie safes the customer had
previously ordered from us. The pie safe was accidentally built one
inch too tall and did not perfectly match the customer's other pie
safes. We rebuilt the pie safe in the correct height for the customer,
and this "too tall" pie safe is now on sale. Perhaps 32½" high will be
just the right height for your home.
