Important Mattress Support Note: The Neptune style bed is not a standard platform bed and traditionally requires a box spring. However, we offer an optional ¾” plywood platform insert that rests directly on top of the bed slats. Selecting this upgrade provides full, flat support for your mattress, completely eliminating the need for a box spring.
