This was my very first time ordering a piece of furniture from Amish Furniture Factory and I was a bit apprehensive since I hadn’t ordered from here before and never ordered furniture online ever either. However, I took a leap of faith and ordered a book case. And it turned out to be a great experience. The website and ordering process was easy, with some lovely customization options. I ordered my furniture in ‘Walnut’ wood which while may seem rare for US, it’s a wood that I’m very familiar with and I really love. The bookcase I received is an absolutely beautiful piece of craftsmanship, and I’m really happy to own a beautiful handmade Amish furniture in my house. My bookcase is just like the picture when I was ordering, and is even more beautiful than I imagined. Delivery of my bookcase was delayed a bit, but it was worth the wait. I have a large collection of books of various sizes.  They had been housed for over 40 years on beautiful built-in shelves in my study.  Then we retired, we sold our home along with my study and the problem was what to do with my books.  Even after weeks of culling to decrease the sheer number, there were still some 20 boxes of books of all sizes and weights.  We were moving to a much smaller condo, and I was planning to make one of the bedrooms into a study.  I needed very well-built, sturdy, and adjustable bookshelves.  So I began a fairly extensive search both in person and online.  Most of the shelves that I found were either not fully adjustable or would not hold the weight of my books.  I finally “stumbled” onto the Amish Furniture Factory website.  After multiple phone calls and emails, it became evident that these bookshelves would work for me.

The representatives that I communicated with were extremely helpful with design, color samples, and arranging for delivery that would be convenient (although VERY expensive).  My books now have a new home on my Amish bookshelves.  Just as advertised, they are completely adjustable, easily hold the weight and look GREAT!! I could not be happier and would enthusiastically recommend these bookshelves.

A good Pantry Cabinet should be conveniently located at or where food is prepared. Everything in the pantry should be seen immediately for smooth flow and easy access. I received my Amish Furniture Factory cabinet recently. I absolutely love it and couldn’t be happier.  I had originally looked into getting custom cabinets made by a local cabinet maker for my bedroom/bathroom remodel.  The quote was very expensive and I wasn’t happy with how it went so I started searching for ready-made furniture. I wanted to buy furniture made in the USA if at all possible. Something told me to try Amish furniture because I had heard how well-made it is. I found Amish Furniture Factory on the internet and began searching their catalog. I found the Norwest Pantry which would fit very well in my space. I am actually using it in a clothes cabinet. I corresponded with Laura who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I was able to get a sample of the Ebony black stain on brown maple which Laura recommended.  It has just a bit of wood grain which shows thru and I like the way it looks very much. It is so sturdy and well-made. All the doors and drawers open and close perfectly. It has touch lights at the top which is a nice feature. I was able to take advantage of the customization options for shelves and drawers, knobs, glass, etc. It was ready and delivered in the time frame I was told. It was all very well organized and communication was clear all along. The white glove delivery was very reasonable and well done. The delivery people were polite, and professional, and did a great job. I am extremely happy with my purchase and it was far less than custom cabinets would have been and has more features, plus hopefully, it will stay in my family for many generations.  I highly recommend Amish Furniture Factory.

David lives in a true country cabin. His historic decor calls for solid wood storage, so he called Amish Furniture Factory and got a Lux Traditional 4-Door Pantry Cabinet.
