I have a large collection of books of various sizes.  They had been housed for over 40 years on beautiful built-in shelves in my study.  Then we retired, we sold our home along with my study and the problem was what to do with my books.  Even after weeks of culling to decrease the sheer number, there were still some 20 boxes of books of all sizes and weights.  We were moving to a much smaller condo, and I was planning to make one of the bedrooms into a study.  I needed very well-built, sturdy, and adjustable bookshelves.  So I began a fairly extensive search both in person and online.  Most of the shelves that I found were either not fully adjustable or would not hold the weight of my books.  I finally “stumbled” onto the Amish Furniture Factory website.  After multiple phone calls and emails, it became evident that these bookshelves would work for me.

The representatives that I communicated with were extremely helpful with design, color samples, and arranging for delivery that would be convenient (although VERY expensive).  My books now have a new home on my Amish bookshelves.  Just as advertised, they are completely adjustable, easily hold the weight and look GREAT!! I could not be happier and would enthusiastically recommend these bookshelves.

There is no standard when it comes to selecting your dining chairs, it is all down to personal preference. While there is nothing wrong with a perfectly matched dining table and chair set, some might consider it a bit too formal. Just remember the style you are trying to achieve. I am 100% happy with my oak chairs and matching table. The maple dining chairs are even more lovely.  I elected white glove delivery and the gentleman unboxed everything and brought everything into the house just fine.

There’s endless variety in handcrafted furniture. Anna mixed and matched this Ouray Dining Table with the Kenwood Dining Chairs to create her own gorgeous dining set. The wood is rustic cherry with coffee colored stain. The upholstery is faux leather in Asbury.

We always receive multiple compliments from our family and friends when they see our new kitchen table we got about a year ago. We purchased a quarter-sawn oak table than can seat 6 people at our family meals but easily converts into a table to seat 10 with the leaves stowed inside the table. These pieces were built with Oak and splashed with our Malanguania stain, is 42 x 66″ in size, and is stocked with two fixed and two removable leaves.

…I really liked the furniture. I was hoping to have the tables by Thanksgiving because I have seven grandchildren. I remembered that I’d been wanting new tables, and I remembered in the summer, so I got them ordered and they arrived on time!
