Batavia Trestle Dining Table

I found Amish Furniture Factory while searching online for furniture made in the US. In June 2022, I ordered a dining table and four chairs. Amish Furniture Factory sent out large stain samples rather than small “chips”. This was incredibly helpful in choosing the stain. When I placed the order, delivery was running 4-7 months. At the six-month mark, Laura sent me an update; the shop that was making the chairs was waiting for a new piece of equipment. I was notified that my furniture was ready to ship toward the beginning of January 2023 and given two days notice to pay the final balance due. I had a seven-day window for the expected delivery date and was told that the driver would contact me one or two days in advance to set up a time. The driver did not actually contact me until a day or two after the expected time frame. Fortunately, I was able to take time off from work at the last minute. I had white glove delivery and that process was quick and smooth. Two men carried in the furniture unwrapped it, assembled it, and removed all the trash.

Their testimonial letter starts with, “Since we have purchased other Amish pieces over the last 15 years and had never been disappointed in the quality of craftsmanship, we were not apprehensive about ordering online.” With that much experience, they’re clearly Amish furniture fans.

Attached are pictures of the wood furniture that we purchased last year. We absolutely love the furniture! It is beautiful and the quality is outstanding. It is worth the wait!

These pieces were built with Oak and splashed with our Malanguania stain, is 42 x 66″ in size, and is stocked with two fixed and two removable leaves.

We’d like to note how well the table and chairs match the existing cabinetry in the background.

There is no standard when it comes to selecting your dining chairs, it is all down to personal preference. While there is nothing wrong with a perfectly matched dining table and chair set, some might consider it a bit too formal. Just remember the style you are trying to achieve. We always receive multiple compliments from our family and friends when they see our new kitchen table we got about a year ago. We purchased a quarter-sawn oak table than can seat 6 people at our family meals but easily converts into a table to seat 10 with the leaves stowed inside the table. Attached is a picture of our table in our newly remodeled kitchen as well as one with family on Easter.

I love my expanding table with four leaves that store INSIDE the table! The Amish Furniture Factory was so personal and helpful helping me in the process. I was able to make many personal design choices. The delivery men were also very helpful. I have a beautiful and functional oak table that expands to different sizes to accommodate family and friends. I highly recommend the Amish Furniture Factory!

I purchased a maple round table last June. It was stain-matched perfectly to match my pine ladder chairs from my older dining set. It is a beautiful table, made very strongly, and the finish is a perfect match to the chairs!

Love, Love, Love our new china cabinet! Laura was so easy to work with when placing the order. She kindly answered all of my questions and made the whole ordering process a breeze. The cabinet came two weeks ahead of schedule and I was able to have it in my dining room for Thanksgiving. The quality of workmanship exceeded my expectations. What a great way to start the morning by basking in the sun on a solid wood nook set with a cup of Joe and some breakfast.

Ed chose the Baywood stain on brown maple wood, with the 33-10 Bluebird fabric.  Other customizations include 6″ Deep storage and a traditional table base.

Our hutch arrived safe and sound on Friday and after placing it in the right spot and putting our dishes and crystal in it we just have to tell you how very pleased we are! It is a beautiful piece of furniture, well made and a pleasure to look at! Although the hardware is a bit different from our side board, it blends in beautifully and was a good choice. The fact that we got the hutch earlier than expected was an added bonus and we just want to thank everybody involved for producing and delivering such a quality piece.
