Amish Garden Dining Tables

Dennis from California got this Princeton Dining Table and Meridian Dining Chairs in quarter-sawn oak with FC-106 Acres stain. But before he got his dining room set, he found the best way to shop for Amish furniture online. Here’s what Dennis writes about Amish Furniture Factory.

“We did a great deal of online searching for just the right table for our space and the table we ordered is perfect. The color selection ties in very well and we benefited by having several color samples sent to us. Our day to day use is what you see in the first picture.

“When we have larger gatherings we will enjoy being able to extend the table by adding the two leaves, and with the expanding bench we’ll be able to easily accommodate gatherings of 12 which we’ll be moving towards as our grown children get married and return with spouses and families of their own (second picture).”

Loriann chose this Monteray Split Pedestal Dining Table for two reasons: it can accept a lot of leaves, and it’s really shiny.

This is hard maple with the Burnt Umber stain. What’s great about a split-pedestal table is that it starts as a single pedestal table but transforms into a triple pedestal table to seat a huge number of guests. Depending on your options, it can accept up to eight leaves. Here is a picture from the store to show what the triple pedestal looks like.

Modern style is in, in Ellen’s Chicago dining room. To complement her colorful palette knife painting and grey upholstered chairs, Ellen chose the Kalispel Dining Table with ebony stain. The Kalispel’s legs are two geometric squares, supporting the mod look.

The Pawlowskis in Chicago got an Aspen Dining Table and Jacoby Dining Chairs. With the help of our very human ordering process, they mixed colors and textures to create an elegant but modern dining room.The broad surfaces of these pieces—the table top and chair seats—are beautiful elm with Miniwax 224 Special Walnut stain. However, the frames of the table and chairs are brown maple with Ebony stain. If you would like a two-tone finish or other customizations for your furniture, just give us a call.

We were leery of ordering an expensive dining room set over the Internet, but given the great reputation of furniture made by the Amish, we took a chance.  And it certainly worked out!  The furniture is very high quality, with solid construction and a beautiful finish.  We couldn’t be happier!  Amish Furniture Factory sent us samples of the various wood choices and finishes, and answered our questions promptly.  They are a great company and we highly recommend them.  Five stars!
