This same thickness of the wood and well designed tops will also help keep bad odors associated with waste trapped inside the bin. Ordering an Amish trash bin will allow you to choose from a wide array of wood types and stains to more easily match the colors of your existing furniture or home décor. We offer oak and cherry wood for the majority of our trash bins available, both of which are available in around one half dozen stain colors.

Amish trash bins are available in many styles, sizes and top designs which gives the customer a greater degree of flexibility when choosing the style that works best for their need. The slide-out style waste bin functions like a large drawer that slides out on rails. In the slide-out compartment there is a space to store a plastic waste bin which is easily concealed along with its odors, by simply opening and closing the drawer.

The tilt top waste bin has a lid that swings on two pegs holding the top securely in place. Adding waste to the bin is as easy as pushing down on the top a letting the lid top swing back into place. The traditional lift top style waste bin is very effective at containing odors inside, but offers less in terms of convenience as the top has to be manually lifted from its base with one hand while the other inserts the waste.
