The Amish chairs category is full of many chair types, and is one of our most popular categories. Our dining room chair category is our most popular chair and offers the largest selection. Depending on the chair builder, oak, cherry, brown maple, ¼ sawn white oak, hard maple, rustic cherry, rustic hickory, and hickory are the wood types available for our chairs. Each Amish dining chair is hand made by some of the most skilled Amish craftsman in the United States. The dining chair designs we offer range from varying degrees of sophistication and elegance to simple and pure, and traditional styles to the more contemporary.

Our Amish dining chairs can be purchased in the side chair version with no arms, or the arm chair version, also known as the captain’s chair. The majority of our dining chairs can be ordered with or without upholstery. The chair version without upholstery will have a traditional wood seat with a scooped seat surface as seen with many chair designs.

Like our dining chairs, our bar stools and chairs can be ordered with or without upholstery, and can be ordered in the standard 24” kitchen counter height, or 30” bar height. Two basic functional style options are available for the bar chairs including the stationary bar stool or the swivel bar stools which has a seat that can rotate diagonally.

 Our chairs are made of 100% natural, select grade solid hardwoods and are assembled using old world building techniques that have been time tested and proven to be some of the longest lasting and durable furniture available in the United States. Keep in mind that we can custom alter size dimensions to suit a specific fit to a table or area.
