It is balanced, so rocking on it is easy. It&#8217;s also comfortable. Besides having a contoured seat, the rocker has thick, lightly curved back slats that support your back instead of cutting into it. You can get upholstery for your rocker, but it is just as comfortable on its own. The arms are curved for comfort, and show that this rocker is balanced in more than its weighting. The arms visibly balance the bands beneath; if you were to continue the lines drawn by the bands and arms, you would come up with an attractive seed shape. And since this is a shape your brain draws even when the rocker only uses part of it, the shape contributes to the aesthetic of your room.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know how many times I&#8217;ve said it, but if a person is a handcraftsman working with solid hardwood, he will build the most superb furniture he can.
