The Architecture Resource
The process of becoming an architect is done in three steps. First, you must meet the educational standards and keep at least a B average in high school. Research what courses are best to study for an architectural program in college. After you have graduated, you are required to go through an internship and work for an architectural firm and get experience in 16 areas of architecture. After doing this you must take an Architect Registration Exam. Finally, once the state has given you a license you are considered an architect. The process of becoming an architect takes about eight to ten years after finishing high school.
