All Rustic Montana Collection pieces are lodge pole pine that is harvested in an environmentally responsible manner, using no heavy equipment and only harvesting trees that have naturally died. Skilled artisans peel the outer bark off the logs with old-fashioned drawknives after which they are carefully assembled using the mortise and tenon joinery method.
Choose between natural unfinished and finished. The finished version includes three coats of premium grade, clear lacquer varnish to protect the wood for years to come. Our professionals lightly sand the item in-between coats of lacquer to ensure the ultimate of finishes; one that will preserve and protect the wood for decades. Comes fully assembled.
