Like all of our other furniture pieces sold at Amish Furniture Factory, our games and game furniture are hand crafted using the best hardwoods available in the United States. Since games and game furniture is often a bit smaller and more intricate than most other Amish furniture pieces, extra care is used when selecting hardwoods to be used in these pieces.
Amish Furniture Factory carries many traditional types of games such as puzzles, chess, connect four, strategy or aggravation games, and more! Soon to be arriving to our Amish game and recreation room category is a line of large leisure game tables, such as foosball, pool tables, dart boards, full size and small shuffle board tables. These game pieces are great fun and will provide hours of entertainment and are large enough to provide entertainment for the entire family or groups. The best part about Amish game furniture is not only is it highly functional, interactive, and entertaining, it’s extremely beautiful and serves dual purpose as pieces of art that can be played with rather than just stared at!
Much of our game pieces and game furniture is most readily available in oak, but can be ordered in other wood types as well. Other hardwoods that are used for game pieces and game furniture is maple and walnut due to its strength and ability to handle harder direct impacts which is common when playing a competitive game. A few of our game pieces are made of mixed hardwoods such as maple and walnut. Typically, the Amish do not mix different types of hardwoods due possible damage caused from the variable expansion and contraction of different hardwoods when used together. However, smaller game pieces that cannot be affected by this issue, and have small game pieces, are made from a beautiful contrasting blend of mixed hardwood.
